Colin Campbell and Company is a stunning boutique style jewellers located in the heart of the city of Inverness. This established family run business commissioned Rona Douglas Interiors several years ago to come up with an interior scheme to transform and soften the shop interior, while conveying the uniqueness and quality of their jewellery.
Rona Douglas Interiors designed a scheme to promote the luxurious feel of the jewellery by using golds and silvers, with glass beaded wallpaper, gold mosaics, crushed velvet and a custom designed artwork to transform the floor to ceiling mirror.
The exterior of the shop was also a key aspect in the refurbishment; the shop front and signage were simplified to make more of a stand out stylish statement, with the introduction of a large gold mosaic ‘C’, creating a dramatic and unique focal point.
Since the initial refurbishment Rona Douglas Interiors have recently completed an update to the interior scheme. The client wanted to refresh the interior, and to create a more rustic scheme, with a Scottish aesthetic. This was achieved with the use of tweeds and plaids and a herring bone carpet, all in soft muted grey tones to complement the walnut display cases. This new scheme as well as following current trends, allows the jewellery to shine and sparkle.
